How to wash ?
Each Tamashii sweater is designed to last and to stand the test of time with elegance. Cashmere is a precious fiber: just a few simple gestures are enough to preserve its softness and shape.
1. Hand wash & dry
- Use cold or lukewarm water (maximum 68°F).
- Add a small amount of wool detergent or a gentle cashmere shampoo.
- Turn the sweater inside out, press gently without ever twisting or rubbing.
- Rinse carefully with clear water, always delicately.
- To dry, wrap your sweater in a terry towel to absorb excess water.
- Lay it flat on a dry surface, away from direct sunlight or any heat source.
2. Machine wash & dry
Our sweaters can be machine-washed, provided the program is suitable:
- Select the “wool” or “delicate” cycle, cold (maximum 68°F).
- Use a special wool detergent and place your sweater in a laundry bag.
- Absolutely avoid strong spin cycles: maximum 400 rpm.
- After washing, dry flat as for hand washing — never hung, never tumble-dried.
3. Care Tips
- Let your sweater breathe between wears; no need to wash it after each use.
- Store it folded, not hung, to preserve its shape.
- Place your sweater in its dust bag to protect it from dust and light, keeping its beauty intact over time.
Well-cared-for cashmere becomes more beautiful over time.
